Karl Stanzick, Managing Director

Karl has worked to bridge the Digital Divide since he finished his Peace Corps service in Benin, West Africa in 1993.

As a native Californian educated at UC Santa Barbara, one of the original nodes of what is now the Internet, he has over twenty years of experience with this technology and its evolution.

Living and working in Africa for 15 years has allowed him to understand the needs and appropriateness of information technology integration with developmental goals.

An entrepreneur who created and manages his own high-tech small business with offices in San Diego, California and Rabat, Morocco, Karl is involved in several professional associations including the Moroccan chapter of the American Chamber of Commerce as a board member, board member of the American Cultural Association which manages ten American Language Centers, and is an active member of the committee which manages a 2 million dollar scholarship and endowment fund donated by the US government to the Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane
